Dr. Shah's expertise was solidified by serving as Chief Resident of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at Grant Medical Center.

Board-certified in Podiatric Medicine and Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Shah is also a respected fellow of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Fluent in English and Gujarati, she skillfully blends communication with a broad medical skill set. Her specialties include sports medicine, diabetic wound care, and the treatment of bunions and hammertoes.

Dr. Hussain’s educational pursuits in health care were further solidified by a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, complemented by a comprehensive internship at Sisters of Charity Hospital. He also served as Chief Resident of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery at the Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, N.Y.

As a board-certified podiatrist, Dr. Hussain is particularly interested in sports medicine, bunion and hammertoe treatment, diabetic wound care, and limb salvage, along with a focus on foot and ankle injuries. He was awarded the prestigious Austin Flint and John O’Brien Research Symposium Award for his research of the HyProcure implant for flatfoot deformity. Furthermore, Dr. Hussain was voted the “Best Podiatrist in Rockwall / Rowlettt” in 2016 and 2018.
